Alex M. Nading

Dr. Nading earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. Subsequently, he earned a Master of Science degree in anatomy and a Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Virginia. He completed five years of surgery and urology residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) finishing in 1981.

Dr. Nading has served as the president of the Medical Staff at St. Vincent’s East and as an officer in the Birmingham Surgical Society. He is a member of the American Urological Association, the American Medical Association, the Southeastern Section of the American Urological Association, the Medical Association of the State of Alabama, the Birmingham Surgical Society, and the Birmingham Urology Club. He is a member of the medical staff at St. Vincent’s East, Trinity Medical Center, and at Brookwood Medical Center.

Dr. Nading is certified in urology by the American Board of Urology and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Dr. Nading is board certified.
