Dr. Rachel Engelberg
Dr. Engelberg attended Tufts University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering. After a two-year hiatus spent teaching in New York, she returned to Boston, MA to Tufts University where she earned her medical degree. Following graduation from medical school, she moved to Worcester, MA where she completed one year of general surgery internship and four years of urological surgery residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. She is now experiencing life in the South for the first time as Dr. Christine’s fellow.
During her time in residency, Dr. Engelberg served as the New England representative on the Residents and Fellows Committee of the American Urological Association. In addition to her participation in professional societies and conferences, she spent a large portion of her residency educating both medical students and fellow residents. When she is not in the operating room, she enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and dog, as well as attending spinning classes. She is excited to join the team at UCA and learn from the best.
