Dr. Alex Nocera

Dr. Alex Nocera earned his bachelor’s degree from Auburn University, where he received the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence and graduated summa cum laude. He went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), graduating magna cum laude and earning induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Dr. Nocera continued his training at UAB, where he completed his residency in urology before joining Urology Centers of Alabama.

His clinical interests include robotic and laparoscopic surgery, prosthetic urology, erectile dysfunction, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), kidney stones, male infertility, and urinary incontinence.

Dr. Nocera is a member of the American Urological Association, the American Medical Association, and the Medical Association of the State of Alabama.
