Eric Westerlund, CRNP
Eric Westerlund earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Auburn University (1993), a Master of Science in Nursing in Adult Health Primary Care from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (1999), and a Post-Graduate Family Practice Certification in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (2002). He has 19 years of experience as a provider to patients with low testosterone and in family practice. Eric is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) at Urology Centers of Alabama and is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners with national certification in Adult and Family Practice.
Eric is a US Navy veteran serving 10 years as a Corpsman including Desert Shield/Desert Storm with the U. S. Marine Corps Kilo Battery 5th Marine Battalion, 10th Marine Division where he was awarded the Combat Action Ribbon, Fleet Marine Force Ribbon, Southwest Asia Campaign Ribbon, and Liberation of Kuwait Medal. In his free time, Eric likes to spend time with his wife and two sons and their Bassett Hound, Beau.
He is an active member of Dawson Baptist Church, in Homewood, Alabama. Eric collects toy soldiers, military figures, WWII, and Civil War memorabilia. He also enjoys reading and SEC football.
