Q: Where are you from?

A: I’m from Birmingham, AL.

Q: How long have you worked at Urology Centers of Alabama (UCA)?

I have worked for UCA 1 year and 8 months now.

Q: What is your favorite thing about working at UCA?

A: I love the fact that I have the opportunity to learn something new every day and Employee Appreciation Day.

Q: What advice might you give to a patient that’s nervous about his or her appointment?

A: I will tell a nervous patient just to breathe and everything is going to be okay.

Q: Tell us about your family, i.e. spouse, kids, grandkids, pets, etc?

A: I’m the oldest sibling of 6. I have 3 sisters and 2 brothers. I just got married to my best friend, Phillip, on November 3rd – THE BEST DAY EVER! We’re not planning for kids at this moment; we would rather travel as much as we can for now. We feel we have our whole lives to become parents.

Q: How do you think your best friend would describe you as a person?

A: My best friend would describe as a soft Jolly Rancher who’s a kid at heart. I know this because he calls me that all the time. He says it’s because I can appear to be hard and tough, but if the moment is right or if there’s someone who has found a place in my heart, I’m really soft and tender. As far as the kid part, who doesn’t like being one! I would go to Chuck E. Cheese and the Mcwane Center and have the time of my life, with my niece and nephew, of course.

Q: What is your favorite weekend activity?

A: My favorite weekend activity is resting and watching Netflix.

Q: What is your favorite restaurant in the Birmingham area?

A: Anyone who really knows me knows my favorite restaurant is Olive Garden.

Q: Pick a color that describes your personality, and tell us why.

A: A color that describes my personality is Orange. Orange is my favorite color, and I see it most during the Fall season, which is my favorite time of the year. Don’t forget those orange and blue Auburn Tigers! WAR EAGLE!!! Besides that, I feel that orange is a very flexible color that can be bold and make a statement but also has a calmness to it if need be.

Q: If a movie was being produced about your life, what famous actor or actress would play your character?

A: If a movie was being produced about my life, I would like for Angela Bassett to play my character. She’s a really strong woman and my favorite actress.

Q: What song do you karaoke to when you’re alone in your vehicle?

A: There’s a variety of songs that I karaoke when I’m alone in my vehicle, but my favorite is Shut Up and Dance With Me by Walk the Moon.

Q: If you had to pick a theme song that played every time you walked into a room, what would it be?

A: If I had a theme song it would be Bravo by Ledisi.

Q: If you had to be an animal, what would you choose?

A: I would choose to be an Eagle.

Q: If you could trade places with any person in the word for a day, who would it be? This can be a celebrity, historical figure, fictional character, etc.
